This has been yet another challenging year for all of us who own an organization, work in business or non-profits and supervise staff. Specific to New Directions, we’ve had to work hard to keep costs down, while still providing the quality customer service and standards our clients expect. Sound familiar? It’s no easy feat to keep team and staff morale high, educational development continuing, while pleasing stakeholders and remaining competitive. However, through the challenges and obstacles, the trials and late hours, I think we have found some much needed determination and quite frankly, grit. At New Directions, we have had to take a realistic look at what separates us from other firms, and how we provide immediate value to our current and future clients.

In 2011, we are moving forward with a clear vision of where we want to grow and succeed in the next generation of New Directions. We have defined what value we provide to clients and customers in what we’re calling our Pillars of Service. These services include Facilitation, Training, Surveying, Coaching, and Strategy. They share a common focus: maximizing the potential of people.
Successful organizations, with the right people in place, can capitalize on competencies and talents, and create a compelling vision and culture for their organization.
