Matthew Harrington is an author, trainer and consultant with New Directions, an innovative leadership firm located in Bennington, Vermont. Matthew is seen as a subject matter expert on social media, social learning, the Millennial generation, and new forms of leadership within the workplace. Most recently, Matthew has presented and partnered with Keurig Green Mountain, Killington Mountain Resort, Bennington Rescue Squad, Advocate Construction, USDA Rural Development Department, the Association for Talent Development (ATD), and the New England Center for Financial Training.
In his consulting and business development position, Matthew has a holistic pulse on the ever-changing field of leadership and employee development. Matthew works with organizations to discuss the changing paradigm of learning, engagement and leadership. Previously Matthew worked at Media Logic, a top 100 strategic marketing firm located in Albany, NY. Matthew graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Advertising and Business.
